Frame The Debate

I do truly feel sorry for my fellow humans. We fight, we bicker, and we complain!
I just wonder are we missing the point, are we denying our only true right…seek truth.
We hate change and the truth! It’s a painful existence to constantly have to analyze a situation that we believe should be absolute and final. Poor humans, it must be hard to grow, be analytical, and logical.

We have no idea how to comprehensively address a damn thing! Problems for us are like addressing a monster in a horror movie. If we don’t have a magic bullet…we start to shoot…even if it doesn’t work.
We aimlessly meander in our everyday lives as if it truly matters; we wear masks as if people don’t see them. So let’s look at one of the truths we ram our heads in the sand to avoid:

“That's just the way it is
Some things will never change
That's just the way it is
But don't you believe them”
That’s the Way It Is-Bruce Hornsby and the Range

Every American loves a successful rich person! We love a good happy feely story of success! But that’s been the point of the argument lately. We are divided between the two sides of a love/hate opinion of the rich. On one side has its “No poor man has ever given me a job”; the other side boasts the opinion of “they make too much”.

Well let’s start the flowchart properly. Are they a self-made man? Yes? Good, both sides love that. Did they work hard to get where they are? Yes? Great, both sides love that.Did they earn it the right way? No? Now we have a problem right? Wrong. We are arguing over the money, without addressing the real source of the problem.

Greed! We don’t have a class warfare issue. We have a crime/greed issue. No one can say that they like it when someone steals, kills, or just breaks the law without remorse. We don’t like it when harm is brought to people. Rape is a crime, when a deceitful businessman can rob you blind it’s a shame. A murder is a crime, when a politician, seeking to look tough on crime, can deny a man on death row a DNA test to prove his innocent it is a shame. Robbing a bank is a crime; bank failures accompanied with a bailout is a shame.

It’s a damn shame that “it is what it is” can be the explanation of millions of jobs lost due to laws and treaties made by the very people that we send financial contributions to and elect. It’s a dame shame that a company can make or do something that can kill you, but murder isn’t the case that we give them. Didn’t know that defective breaks killing you is a civil issue. Do I truly need to give anymore examples of what greed will do in order to make a dollar? Do I truly need to mention anymore horrors they have committed for the almighty dollar. Do we need to see anymore examples before too damn much isn't enough? Health Care?

Education? Wars? Housing market manipulations? Outing a CIA agent? What more do you need to know? How is it that you cant buy into the truth, but they can sell you anything but?

The truth of the matter is that we love the lifestyles of the rich and famous. We just don’t like when their riches makes us poor and their rise to fame is made by our fall of grace.

Greed isn't morally and legally right. No matter what anyone tells you…don’t you believe them.

You are right on! We do have to address the debate from a selfish point of view as the real truth.

When we are told, then it is suspicious. When it is asked, then it is thoughtful.

If I told the child to put the money in the bank, then it becomes WHY? (suspicion, curiousness)

When I ask the child what would you think if the money goes into the bank, then it becomes thoughtful and a sharing of wealth in information and an excercise in potential.

Potential for changing pespectives
and understanding. Not what is the truth, rather what is the lie? Now we know the truth! Nothing is worthless, and each person has reached out to be here among us.

We are one organism of a biological
human family, not separate from the other by color, race, class or gender, but separated by the lie that we are not one family of human beings.

The question becomes evident in asking, why does anyone want to hurt another with greed, when we would never want to separate our own thumb from our own hand on our own self? We should do all we can to preserve our selves as a whole of humankind by not resorting to being selfish and thinking that any part of our body is worth less or more than another.

When we deceive ourselves with greed, we lie to the world that we are more important than us.

I look at the face of woman. I can see a beautiful person behind the smile that is not there. I can also see the smiles of those who should not have them. I am heavy with saddness as I hear those words.

"I was dreaming of the past and my heart was beating fast. I began to lose control. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry that I made you cry. I didn't want to hurt you, I'm just a jealous guy."

We were feeling insecure and we didn't know what they were planning to do. I was trying to catch your eyes. I wanted you to see it wasn't my pride. I wanted to swallow my pain. I hope it is not too late. I'm sorry that we made you cry. We should be asking ourselves WHY?

"I don't wanna be a soldier momma, I don't wanna die. Well, I don't wanna be a failure momma, I don't wanna cry." I don't wanna be a politician momma, I don't wanna lie. "Oh, how do we sleep?" With all those lives they reap. "Just gimme some truth" all I want is truth. We have had enough of this paranoid dope and all the NATO hope.

"How can you have feelings when your feelings have always been denied? How can you feel something when you just don't know how to feel? How can you give love when love is something that you may never have had? You know life can be wrong and so you got to be strong!"

These who show ignorance of you and our plight are crippled inside. It is one thing they can't hide and I have to live with their handicap as well. They do not realize that this GREED is costing them their economies, children's education AND the smile that comes from sharing.

They can sit temporarily judging you while behind the scenes they can't see how to imagine themselves in your shoes.

Imagine all peoples living together as one, not with those who wish to divide and think they have won. I am your friend and your brother, I am just a jealous guy. (Imagine, I am John.)
