We Are All We Have Left

I know that some of you are wondering...what is up with Saynt?

Is he mad? Happy? At peace? Whats with the "hippy shit?" Well, a young lady hurt me. She didn't say anything bad about me. She told me her take on life, her life, I was devastated. I started to ask myself...why do we think like we are so DAMN divided? How can we be so diametrically opposed to each other?

So please...forgive me. The next few blogs I put out will speak to my lack of understanding "misunderstanding". It will address what I truly don't believe...we are not the same. Don't we know that we are only human? Everything else is window dressing.

One last thing before I begin my post...no matter what you believe or believe in...I love and respect you. I don't come in peace, I come seeking it.

What many know but many wont admit...we are NOT in a class war. We are the POW's. We have had our freedoms, education, media, and our ability to be taken from us. They replaced it with political parties, race divisions, religious conflicts and a level of stress that most rabbits hearts would explode if they had to deal with what we have for an hour. There are no countries or continents, just rich and poor. The haves don't control the have nots...we live in a prison that is now of our own creation. We don't love or trust our own neighbors. We are the only thing we have left is each other. The boat we are on is rocky, the waters are fierce, but we are together. Everyday I see more and more that nothing we have cant be taken from us. Of course it can be taken...we have no ownership. We don't own our thoughts, our feelings, or our bodies.

How can you own what you don't have access to growth? We don't have an effective educational system, We don't have effective routes to a healthy diet. Have you look at any news going on...Shock Doctrine is not a book...its one of the tools used on us like you would a science project. We are quick to say what's wrong...that scares me. We come to the table with problems and damn those that have solutions. We have become the silencers of progress that the rich couldn't have possibly imagined would be that easy to design. They feed off of our fear, they know with stress and fear we will never look beyond our own problems. We are so far into problems that apathy is the only reaction we give when someone else is in pain. We compete with our pain. "You think you got problems" has become the knee-jerk reaction to most cries for help.

But don't you think that if you have problems, your fellow brothers share the same pain?

Isn't it a universal thing? Pain that is. Sexual abuse didn't just happen to you. Job loss didn't just happen to you. The loss of a home, business, or a loved one didn't just happen to you. Am I asking for us to have a group cry? No. Am I asking for everyone to get mad like Howard Beale asked in the movie Network? No! We are like minds! Yes we are! We all want to have an opportunity to show that we matter. No matter what skin color, gender, sexual orientation, or even religion we just want one thing...All I Really Want...Is To Be Happy!

Oh sure happiness is different to different people, but happiness carries an universal and absolute rule...

You cannot seek happiness at the expense of others happiness. We cant offer nothing in the expectation of everything. you cant seek riches while making others poor. We cheat far too much...we cherish demolishing victories more than we practice fair competition. Life has become a death sport where its I need to get mine so you had better help me, but when I get mine you had better get yours on your own. We think that we are playing on a level playing field, so "any extra additions of cheating wont hurt". But it is hurting, its hurting your neighbor when you lose sight that he is your brother and love is what we all want. Love and respect is the fundamental premise of what every child is taught on how to treat one another. When did we outgrow our eyes of the inner child? When did we become so pro-ourselves that we have become anti-everyone else? As I have said here already...we are in this together...we had better act as if...because when pain hits one of us...it will eventually come for us all if we don't join together to stop human atrocities. That is what pain is to a person, that is what fear is to a person, that is what hate is to a person. An atrocity.

I leave you with a poem from Pastor Martin Niemöller who I think that is so very timeless and telling...please I hope we can come together and put love into action. If we can do life with love we wont live through this poem.

"THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,

and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Catholics,

and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.

THEN THEY CAME for me

and by that time no one was left to speak up."
